Hey everyone! How's it going? It's almost Christmas!

Do you have any holiday dish traditions? Ours used to be baking sugar cookies on Christmas Eve, but now my kids demand gingerbread houses. I’d love to hear, what’s your must‑make holiday recipe, and has it changed over time?

For me, I still make my grandma’s shortbread. Butter‑heavy cookies keep their texture because the fat content prevents them from drying out, so they stay perfect even if I bake them early!

Cupcake decorating night is our big tradition now. Funny enough, sugar crystals actually help baked goods stay moist longer, so they hold up great for next‑day snacking. The kids treat it like an art competition.
