I camp a lot with my kids, and we're hoping to try hammocks instead of tents. Excited to join the forum and hear how families make hammock camping work.

I switched my kids to hammocks last summer. Biggest tip: get underquilts or sleeping pads, otherwise they’ll get cold fast. My boys loved the “floating beds” idea, it made camping more fun.
